Walking through the beech forests of the Reatini Mountains, pilgrims will reach Poggio Bustone, a site rich in Franciscan memories. The route continues to Rieti, a historical papal city, and picturesque villages such as Rocca Sinibalda and Castel di Tora, both overlooking the stunning Lake Turano. Further along, the Lucretili Mountains are home to the villages of Pozzaglia, Orvinio, and Mandela, while the Aniene Valley leads to Subiaco, renowned for its deep Benedictine heritage.

St. Benedict and the Province of Frosinone

The Simbruini Mountains offer pristine landscapes filled with remnants of ancient Rome. The journey continues through Trevi nel Lazio and the Hernici Mountains, where travelers will find Guarcino, Vico nel Lazio, and Collepardo, home to the magnificent Charterhouse of Trisulti, a medieval monastic complex of great historical and architectural significance.
